After the terrible destruction, the prospects for the Lebanese people are extremely bleak. In a country already left crippled by debt after the war of the 70s and 80s, the real cost of the latest conflict goes much further; it has rocked the stability and hope of the Lebanese and a whole new generation of children.

BibleLands responded immediately to the recent crisis with emergency aid. Refugees who knocked at the door of our Project Partners in desperation received food, shelter and a safe haven. But now, with little or no hope for the future, many need our continued support to help rebuild their shattered lives.

Will you join us as we offer a hand of healing, hope and friendship to the people of Lebanon? Please make a donation on-line or send a cheque or charity voucher (with your name and address, or supporter reference, on the back) to BibleLands Lebanon Appeal, FREEPOST, PO Box 50, High Wycombe, Bucks, HP15 7BR.

One of our Project Partners recently wrote: “What should I respond to my seven-year-old daughter when she is terrified with the news and images of destruction of nearby bridges where we were travelling hours ago?”

The girl in the car above IS the daughter of that Project Partner. Many are not so fortunate.

Thank you
