BibleLands has individuals who are available to come to speak to churches, prayer groups, Christian Unions and other organisations.  In particular, we currently have two regional representatives: Richard Jones for Southern England and Su McClellan for Central England.

Richard Jones joined BibleLands in January 2005 as our Regional Representative for Southern England.  Having started his career as a teacher Richard has spent many years working with Christian agencies and has a wealth of experience speaking to a wide range of audiences.  He has lived and worked in Nigeria and more recently with the church in Rwanda, Burundi and Uganda. He has also worked with international students in our universities.

Richard says “I feel it is important to share the compassionate work of BibleLands with the people of Southern England, and I especially enjoy participating in family worship”.

Richard is available to speak at services, church council meetings, speaking and preaching engagements, as well as prayer groups and Christian Unions.

Su McClellan is our new Regional Representative for Central England. Su will visit churches, groups and schools in the region and develop existing support for BibleLands’ continuing vital work with vulnerable and disadvantaged people in the lands of the Bible.

Su said, “My interest in the Middle East became a passion after visiting the Occupied Territories in 2004. Experiencing first-hand some of the many difficulties and challenges facing people every day in this troubled region made me realise how vital the work of organisations like BibleLands is. I am really looking forward to meeting BibleLands’ many supporters and to forging new links with those who long to see peace, stability and hope in the Middle East today.”

As well as an active faith, Su brings with her a wealth of professional experience. Having started out as an evangelist in the Church Army, her other roles have included youth worker, family centre manager, hospital fundraiser and volunteer coordinator.

Head of Communications and Fundraising, Tricia Pruden, said, “We are delighted to welcome someone with Su’s commitment and experience to the team. In developing and encouraging support across the Central Region, her appointment will undoubtedly make a huge impact on the work of the Charity.”

Su lives in Kenilworth and is married to an Anglican Priest. They have two children. In her spare time she enjoys climbing, hill walking, running and music.
