Medical Care

BibleLands funds specialist surgery facilities, clinics and general hospitals, as well as local primary and secondary health care programmes, in those circumstances where travel to such specialised medical centres further afield is difficult.

With the deepening crisis in Israel/Palestine and the continuing influx of refugees from Sudan, Somalia and Ethiopia into Egypt, BibleLands continues to provide major medical grants to the region.

It has supported medical work among refugees, and helped to build new surgical and emergency units in Israel/Palestine, as well as providing money for day-to-day running costs to ensure that medical care and support is provided to as many people as possible, particularly to those who could not otherwise afford such treatment.
