4 October 2008 - Annual Service |
|
|
|
St Michael’s, Chester Square, London
SW1
Saturday 4 October, 10.30am – 4.00pm
We are honoured that Suhaila Tarazi, Director of Al Ahli Arab
Hospital, has agreed to be our keynote speaker at our Annual
Service.
The day begins at 10.30am with coffee and talks from staff and
trustees about the work BibleLands.
Mrs Tarazi will then give an insight into the challenges faced by
the Al Ahli Hospital in it front line situation in Gaza City.
Lunchtime will provide an opportunity to look at displays of BibleLands’
work, chat to staff, meet volunteers and even get organised for
Christmas by buying some bargain cards!
The Service of Thanksgiving starts at 2pm, led by The Revd. Brian
Jolly. Our guest preacher is The Revd. Stephen Sizer.
The Still Time Band will lead the worship and members of the
congregation are encouraged to join the choir.
The day ends at around 4pm.
Tickets for the event are free and lunch tickets may be pre-booked
at a cost of £7. (We regret that lunch is only available to those
who have booked in advance).
To book your tickets and to volunteer for the choir, please call

Greenbelt, New Wine and Spring Harvest |
|
|
|

BibleLands continued to be out and about across the UK this
summer.
We visited Spring Harvest for the
first time in May and were at New Wine in July and Greenbelt in August.
All three events provide great opportunities to meet existing
supporters, as well as reaching out to potential supporters,
particularly the young.
We are very grateful to our team of supporters who were able to
help at these events. Without your support, we could not continue
to spread the word about our vital work.
