Current prayer requests
BibleLands and our overseas Partners are very grateful for your prayerful support. Here are the current prayer requests for this month:
Israel and Palestine
 BibleLands has been a long-time supporter of the School of Nursing in Nazareth, where Christians, Jews and Muslims study together. Pray for the nursing students, and in particular for those who are nearing the end of their training, that they would finish strongly and enjoy happy and successful careers. Pray also for the teaching staff who do such great work in guiding and inspiring their students with good humour and compassion.
Egypt
 Among the many Think & Do projects are two 'life schools' in Upper Egypt. These provide a practical education for girls who have dropped out of school, covering topics from numeracy & literacy to communication in the home, hygiene to political participation, conflict resolution to sewing machine maintenance. The schools started in 2011, and progress so far is hugely encouraging. Thank God for the success of the schools, and for the dedicated teachers. Pray that he would continue to bless the work and continue to transform the lives of individuals, families and whole communities in Upper Egypt.
Lebanon
 These are uncertain times at the Swiss Evangelical School in Mejdelanjar. The School is currently run by the Swiss Hilfsbund mission, but is in the process of being transferred to the oversight of local churches in Lebanon. The journey has not been easy! Ask God that he would make the paths straight before them; that local people would be found with the vision, leadership and courage to take the school on and continue the valuable work it is doing.
