Israel & the occupied Palestinian territory

Pupils at Bethany Girls' School June marks the end of the academic year in many of the schools BibleLands supports, complete with final exams and graduation ceremonies, including Bethany Girls' School. For those graduates leaving the relative security of education and moving into the world of work, pray that they would find suitable jobs and be able to support themselves and their families. For those going into further education, pray that God would grant them wisdom and understanding. Pray that all the pupils would continue in God, rooted and built up in Christ.

Egypt

A checkup at Harpur Memorial Hospital Work is ongoing on the Harpur Community Health Centre in Sadat City (an extention of the Harpur Memorial Hospital) - the new centre is on track to open on 1 December 2010. Pray that the construction will continue without interruption, and that the finished centre will be an effective means of sharing the compassion and love of Christ.

Lebanon

A view of the Lebanese mountains BibleLands has recently embarked on a new partnership with the Joint Christian Committee for Social Service in Lebanon, supporting a project to provide sports facilities at a refugee camp in Dbayeh which Sylvia Haddad, their Director, hopes will be 'the first step in drawing the community together, reducing their fighting, and giving all ages a venue to use their energy constructively'. Pray that the project would be successful in its goals and lives would truly be transformed.
