Every purchase from the catalogue or this online shop, supports our work with vulnerable and disadvantaged people in the Middle East, but these gifts make the biggest difference.

How does it work?

Alternative gifts are donations to BibleLands. You will get a gift card (with a fridge magnet or bookmark) showing how we’re putting your money to work. You can send or give it to a friend or relative to show them that you have made a donation on their behalf.
The amount is not shown on the card - so as with any other gift, the recipient won’t know how much you've spent.

Where does my donation go?

It will be used for the exact purpose you’ve chosen - with the exception of our Alternative Alternative Gift (see below), we never divert these donations to other projects or put them ‘into the pot’ for general use.

What about Gift Aid?

These gifts can be gift-aided if you are a UK tax payer. Just check the option on the secure payment form and we can increase the value of your donation by 25% at no extra cost to you. We will send you a declaration to complete if necessary.

Alternative Alternative gift

In the volatile Middle East, the needs can change suddenly. This is a gift without limits - you decide how much you’d like to donate, and we’ll decide on the ideal way of using it.
It could improve living conditions for people in substandard housing, feed refugee toddlers, help a young person to escape gang violence, provide day care for someone with severe disabilities - or any of our partners’ other amazing and life-changing activities.
