FAQs - support us
How can I get involved with BibleLands?
There are many different ways to get involved in the work of BibleLands – by donating your time or money, or by praying for our work. For more details on the ways you can get involved click here.
Can I donate to BibleLands online?
Yes you can! You can donate online to our General Fund, or allocate your gift to a specific project. Click here to donate securely and safely online.
Why does BibleLands need General Funds?
Our General Fund is an unrestricted fund, which means that we can use it wherever the need is greatest. It is especially important as we can use it to help our Overseas Partners with ongoing running costs, as well as for additional requests for support – both for specific projects and for emergency needs, as and when they arise. For this reason it is important and unrestricted funds are very useful. You can print out a Direct Debit form here if you would like to make a regular gift to our General Fund. Please also remember to complete a Gift Aid form.
How can I be sure my money gets to those who need it?
BibleLands was set up in response to a very real concern for people suffering in the lands of the Bible. Today, we have the same passion and commitment to people in the Middle East who are still suffering, through neglect or deprivation, and want to support local Christian-led projects that are helping them.
We take the responsibility and trust that supporters show us very seriously, and ensure that we spend money wisely. Our Overseas Operations team regularly visit our projects and partners, to ensure effective and efficient use of the grants we give them. We also require them to provide reports, reviews and feedback to us on a regular basis. This means that you can be sure that any money you give to BibleLands will be used wisely to help the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people in the lands of the Bible. You can read about our Overseas Partners and the specific work they’re involved in in supporter literature such as The Star in the East (our supporter magazine) or email us to request our literature.
