How many staff work for BibleLands?

We currently have 17 staff in our Head Office in Amersham, and two home-based regional reps – one for Central England and one for Southern England.

How many trustees does BibleLands have?

We have 13 trustees, from a variety of backgrounds and experience, including clergy, health and education specialists - all have a heart for the Middle East region.

What’s BibleLands’ annual turnover?

Last year our income was £3.5million, and we gave away £3.7million.

Where does BibleLands’ funding come from?

BibleLands is funded by voluntary donations from churches, organisations and individuals (including legacies), as well as the profits from our affiliated trading organisation, which sells a variety of cards, books and gifts. Click here to browse our online catalogue.

Does BibleLands have Safeguarding (Child Protection) and Data Protection policies?
Yes we do!

Safeguarding: This policy covers both children and vulnerable adults. In accordance with current legislation, which advises against the disclosure of details that would enable a child or vulnerable adult to be identified or located, BibleLands is no longer able to encourage or arrange visits by supporters to meet their sponsored child.

In order to apply safeguarding legislation in a responsible and appropriate way BibleLands do not disclose the surname of any beneficiary on any correspondence. Click here for our full Safeguarding Policy.

Data Protection: We respect our supporters’ privacy and BibleLands fully complies with the UK Data Protection Act (1998). In addition BibleLands does not pass supporter information onto third parties. Click here for our full privacy policy.
