DUET work closely with village leaders on programmes that enable rural communities to break out of the cycle of poverty through educational, agricultural and medical support.

Rural village communities including Beni Khalil.

Beginnings:
DUET was founded to help lessen the unbalanced economic growth and stark difference in living conditions between urban and rural areas. It supports the development of entire villages through projects that benefit every individual.

Activities:

BibleLands began working with DUET in 2003 in the village of Beni Khalil, to provide a comprehensive four year plan to increase the standard of living for the entire community. The programme’s aim was to provide long-term benefits in five main areas:
