Our core values

Respect
We respect the human dignity and value of all people – no matter what their beliefs – for we are all made in God’s image.

Galatians 3:28: There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Accountability
We seek to be accountable to the people whom we serve, to supporters and, ultimately, to God, who is at the heart of our ministry.

Ephesians 5:21: Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.

Compassion
Our calling is to be Christ-like in our compassion, focusing especially on those who are the most vulnerable and disadvantaged.

Matthew 25:40: Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.

Excellence
We seek to attain high levels of professionalism and excellence in all areas, but without being perfectionist, that our work might honour and glorify God.

Colossians 3:23-24: Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

Integrity
We strive at all times for honesty and integrity, seeing these as the hallmarks of any Christian organisation, and of its trustees and staff.
