On behalf of the Armenian Evangelical Churches in the Near East, we would like to express our joy on the wonderful occasion of the 150th Anniversary of BibleLands. BibleLands has indeed brought us “150 years of Healing and Hope”. BibleLands has been with us since the end of the 19th century, through the nightmare of the Armenian Genocide, through the following years of real hardship, through the Lebanese Civil War, and up till the present day.

We thank God for you.

Congratulations!

Rev. Megrdich Karagoezian

President, Union of the Armenian Evangelical Churches in the Near East

While thinking about your 150th anniversary, I cannot help but recognise with awe that God works through people, organisations, situations, and so strongly in difficulties. In that perspective, BibleLands is part of the history of God's gracious intervention in the hours of need of our people. May the memory of those past, and the vitality of the ones present, be a blessing to us.

Not being able to personally join you is my loss, but I pray that God may bless our fellowship and joining of hands even from a distance.

On behalf of the Central Committee of the Union of Armenian Evangelical Churches in the Near East, as well as Haigazian University, I salute you in the name of Christ and congratulate you.

Rev. Paul Haidostian, Ph.D.

President, Haigazian University

It was a memorable experience being a member of the pilgrimage group to Lebanon. It was a real insight into BibleLands' work there, and a well-organised visit to Lebanon's historic sights. Congratulations on the 150th and may you continue for many years to come. Greetings to all those in the Lebanon party.

BibleLands' existence in the Holy Land has a very positive impact in changing the lives of the disadvantaged and children with special needs by following the example of the Good Samaritan. Yesterday, the staff and beneficiaries of the Bethlehem Arab Society for Rehabilitation (BASR) prayed to our Lord to bless all the people working at BibleLands, for your excellent work towards the people of the Holy Land and to grant you the power and strength to continue your mission.

On behalf of BASR's staff, beneficiaries and myself, I wish to extend our sincere congratulations and best wishes to all the people working at BibleLands on the occasion of your 150th Anniversary.

Your brother in Christ,

Edmund Shehadeh
Executive Director, Bethlehem Arab Society for Rehabilitation

All of us at Rawdat El-Zuhur School, children, staff and board, send you our warmest greetings and best wishes on the occasion of the 150th Anniversary of BibleLands. How appropriate that you had a special service on 4th July for the occasion, to celebrate and give thanks to the Lord for the many blessings throughout that period. May you always be blessed in your work and guided by the vision and commitment of dedicated leaders and staff so that your outreach work will continue to give hope to so many young people.

We at Rawdat El-Zuhur are ever so grateful to BibleLands for your continued support. A substantial support, morally and financially, which has made it possible for us to provide the children with the care and quality education that makes life very meaningful, especially in these difficult times.

With warm greetings, and God bless you all.

Yesterday, in our own way, we shared with you in this historic day of 4th July. Our President, Father Georges, celebrated a special mass at the Greek-Catholic Patriarchate, and those who could attend from friends and members of Beit-el-Nour's board were present to pray for BibleLands and our partnership.

On behalf of the children and staff at our Deaf Unit we would like to say:

Happy Anniversary, Congratulations and Alf, Alf Marbrook (thousand, thousand congratulations). We are so happy for your celebration of the 150th year and we pray that the Lord will always continue to bless you through your way of loving and supporting people. You have supported us for many years and we feel that we touch the hands of the "Good Samaritan" every day through your help working with children, youth, men, women and families.

We will share the historic event of 4th July with you in spirit, through prayer and thought. We appreciate your love, concern and support and we pray the Lord will enable you to continue your lovely service to reach the unreached people. We hope that you will not only celebrate 150 years, but at least 250 years!

Greetings to everyone in BibleLands, may God bless you all.

On the occasion of the 150th Anniversary of BibleLands, on behalf of all present and past beneficiaries, I come to transmit two simple words, often commonly used superficially without penetrating into its meaning. Two words expressing the feelings of gratitude of all those for whom BibleLands has been a symbol of hope. Thank you. Two words that should be repeated one hundred and fifty, times three hundred and sixty five, times the number of beneficiaries during the past one hundred and fifty years.

It is our wish to see BibleLands ever growing and ever flourishing, reaching out its aids to the dimmest corners of the world, becoming a light for those in the dark, bread for the hungry and hope for the distressed.

With brotherly greetings in Christ,

Director, Centres for Armenian Handicapped in Lebanon
